More seek treatment for alcohol addiction
The number of people seeking treatment for alcohol problems in the Welsh county of Merthyr Tydfil has increased by more than 40 per cent in the last year, new figures reveal.
The new figures from Health Solutions Wales show throughout the country 15,415 people were treated - up from 10,899 the previous year.
In Merthyr more than 800 people were seen.
