Introduction

This rehabilitation clinic is located in the beautiful Tsitsikamma Forest, 65 kilometres outside Plettenberg Bay on South Africa’s beautiful Garden Route.

The clinic caters for no more than 16-people, male & female, at any one time. The small size enables it to provide daily personal therapeutic intimacy for each client, with one-to-one time, on request.

This clinic is a Registered facility for addiction treatment with the Department of Health of South Africa. Their stated aim is 'to help addicts break free' and the clinic staff have decades of experience dealing successfully with recovering addicts.

Detox needs are met by the clinic doctor and medication needs supervised by the clinic nurse & team.

The Programme Director, Pastor Colin Garnett came out 18-years of heroin and amphetamine addiction, with 15-years clean time, and is married to Deanna, a Bachelor of Law. The addiction clinic is run jointly by Colin and Deanna Garnett, with Colin responsible for the addiction rehabilitation programme.

Facilities at the clinic

The rehabilitation clinic sits at the foot of Tsitsikamma Mountains and the entrance to Tsitsikamma Forest. Within a two minute walk you can be surrounded by the sometimes deafening buzz-of-the-forest, or sat quietly listening to the waterfall.

There are a wide variety of (weekend) adventures to explore, not to mention the world’s highest bungee-jump just 10 minutes down the N2.

This South African clinic is a 10-minute drive from the deepest gorge in South Africa and has breathtaking views, walks and fantastic bar BQ sites right next to the shore. Natures Valley is a 20-minute drive with a safe lagoon for swimming and miles of stunning beaches to walk.

Plettenburg Bay is a 40-minute drive, where clients attend weekly NA or AA meetings, go shopping and relax on beaches-to-die-for.

Accommodation at the clinic

The clinic offers a mixture of beautifully furnished en-suite rooms, rooms for 3 people and one dorm for 5-people. Each room is cleaned daily by staff from the local township. A laundry service and ironing facility is provided at a very low fee.
